Thank you for purchasing a Sunny Hobbies gift card. Gift cards are a convenient way to shop for trading cards, sealed products, accessories, grading services, tournament entries, and other eligible Sunny Hobbies products and services.

By purchasing, receiving, or using a Sunny Hobbies gift card, you agree to the terms below:

Gift Card FAQ

  • 1. Where Gift Cards Can Be Used

    Sunny Hobbies gift cards may be used toward eligible purchases at Sunny Hobbies physical storefront at 3300 Midland Ave, Toronto. Gift cards cannot be used for grading services.Gift card use may be limited by our current point-of-sale system or payment processing limitations. If you are unsure whether a gift card can be used for a specific purchase, please contact us before completing your order.

  • 2. No Expiry Date

    Sunny Hobbies gift cards do not expire.The value on a gift card remains available until the full balance has been used.

  • 3. No Activation, Use, or Dormancy Fees

    Sunny Hobbies does not charge activation fees, monthly fees, service fees, dormancy fees, or maintenance fees on gift cards.The balance of your gift card will not be reduced over time due to inactivity.

  • 4. Gift Card Balances

    Gift cards may be used across multiple transactions until the full balance has been used.If your purchase total is less than the gift card balance, the remaining balance will stay on the gift card.If your purchase total is more than the gift card balance, you may pay the remaining amount using another accepted payment method.Customers are responsible for keeping track of their gift card and balance. Sunny Hobbies may be able to check the remaining balance upon request.

  • 5. Taxes

    Tax is not charged when a gift card is purchased.Applicable taxes are charged when the gift card is used to purchase taxable products or services.For example, if a customer uses a gift card to purchase sealed products, singles, accessories, or other taxable items, applicable tax will be calculated at checkout based on the items purchased.

  • 6. Gift Card Purchases Are Final Sale

    Gift card purchases are final sale and are not refundable once issued, except where required by law.Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded to a credit card, refunded to debit, or converted into store credit, except where required by law.

  • 7. Gift Cards Are Not Cash

    Gift cards are not legal tender and cannot be redeemed for cash.Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards unless Sunny Hobbies specifically allows it.Gift cards cannot be used for unauthorized resale, cash-out transactions, or any transaction that Sunny Hobbies reasonably believes may involve fraud, abuse, or misuse.

  • 8. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Gift Cards

    Sunny Hobbies is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of gift cards. If a gift card is lost or stolen, Sunny Hobbies may be able to assist only if the customer can provide sufficient proof of purchase and the gift card can be verified in our system. Replacement is not guaranteed. Sunny Hobbies reserves the right to refuse replacement if the gift card cannot be verified, has already been used, or appears to be involved in suspicious activity.

  • 9. Returns and Exchanges on Purchases Made With Gift Cards

    If an item purchased with a gift card is eligible for return under Sunny Hobbies’ return policy, the refund will generally be returned back to a Sunny Hobbies gift card or store credit, at Sunny Hobbies’ discretion. Refunds will not be issued in cash, debit, or credit card for purchases made with a gift card. All normal Sunny Hobbies return, exchange, preorder, special order, and final sale policies still apply.

  • 10. Preorders, Special Orders, and Allocated Products

    Gift cards may be used toward eligible preorders or special orders if accepted by our checkout system at the time of purchase. Using a gift card does not guarantee product availability, allocation, preorder fulfillment, or reservation of limited products. Preorders, special orders, and allocated products remain subject to Sunny Hobbies’ normal preorder and allocation policies.

  • 11. Tournaments, Events, and Services

    Gift cards may be used toward eligible Sunny Hobbies tournament entries, events, grading services, or other services where accepted by our system. Some events, services, or third-party fees may be excluded from gift card redemption depending on the situation. Sunny Hobbies will clearly communicate any restrictions where applicable.

  • 12. Gift Cards, Store Credit, and Loyalty Rewards

    Gift cards are separate from Sunny Hobbies store credit, loyalty points, promotional credits, discount codes, and other rewards. Gift card balances cannot be combined with or converted into loyalty points, promotional credits, or store credit unless Sunny Hobbies specifically allows it. Promotions, discounts, loyalty rewards, and store credit rules may have separate terms and conditions.

  • 13. Fraud Prevention and Misuse

    Sunny Hobbies reserves the right to refuse, cancel, hold, or review any gift card transaction if we reasonably believe the gift card was obtained, used, or attempted to be used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of this policy. Sunny Hobbies may request proof of purchase or additional verification before accepting, replacing, or reissuing a gift card. Gift cards that are altered, copied, resold without authorization, tampered with, or obtained through unauthorized channels may be refused.

  • 14. Changes to This Policy

    Sunny Hobbies may update this gift card policy from time to time.Any updates will apply going forward and will not reduce the valid remaining balance of a properly issued gift card.
